Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Endtimes Are On Their Way To You!
13 days ago – Mon, Sep 21, 2026 at 09:03:11 AM

Hey everybody, if you've filled out your survey, I've shipped your games! Some are even showing as delivered already, so keep an eye on your mail. I'll probably do one more update on this page once the dust settles a bit and I take some photos of the games.

In the meantime, I'd love to see pictures of your games arriving or hear about your playthroughs! Shoot them to me here, tag me on instagram or bluesky, or leave a comment on the itch pages if you'd like.

My next game, The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game, will be on Kickstarter next month. Follow the page and share it around to anybody who might like my games; I've been working on this one for years and it's a damn good game.

Cheers,
Adam

Shipping This Month + Actual Play

Locking Orders & Charging Cards

The zines should be arriving at my house in a couple of weeks, so I've begun the process of locking orders and charging for shipping. Make sure to confirm your orders when you get emails to ensure that you get your games in time!

Early Bird Digital Backers (A Clarification)

When I applied shipping charges to everybody's account yesterday, the system was erroneously adding a shipping charge to digital only backers for the early bird postcard reward. I've since corrected this, as the postcard should only be going out to backers who bought physical products. If you are a digital backer and saw a charge on your account yesterday, it should be gone now. Please do let me know if you see any issues with your orders!

Table For Two Actual Play

Table For Two featured all three games of the Endtimes Trilogy last month on their actual play podcast! They did a great job flowing through all three games, taking characters from one to another in a way I hoped people would do but never actually wrote down instructions for anywhere. I really enjoyed it, and so might you: https://rss.com/podcasts/table-for-two-pod1/3036632/

Until Next Time

When you hear from me next, it will be because your games are on the way. The time is also drawing near for the kickstarter campaign of The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game, so follow along there for my next game!

Printing Complete!
2 months ago – Tue, Jul 28, 2026 at 01:55:00 PM

Hello everyone! Apologies for the lack of updates recently, it's been a weird couple of months.

Digital Release

Shortly after the last update, I sent out the digital release of all three games. You all should have received your codes, so let me know if you didn't and I'll take care of that for you. I'd love to hear thoughts from anyone who has downloaded the games so far, either in the comments here or on the itch pages if you've read through them!

Final Prints

I got word this weekend that the print runs were finished and they were sending me a couple of copies ahead of time for approval before final freight shipping. They came today and I'm super happy with how they turned out. Here's some quick photos:

What's to come

The printer estimated that it should take about a month for the full print run to make its way to me, so we're hopefully looking at an early September release barring any other delays. I'm planning to run the kickstarter for The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game in late September, so that's good timing for me.

While I wait for the full run, I'll get my shipping materials together and work on adding the shipping fees to the backerkit surveys, so keep an eye out for final charge notices in the next couple of weeks. Ideally I'll be able to ship everything out as soon as the games get to my apartment.

Until next time!

Printing Process Has Begun!
4 months ago – Wed, Jun 10, 2026 at 04:45:37 PM

Hello! The quick news: I've sent the files for all three endtimes games (as well as the new edition of my brain is a stick of butter) off to the printer for review. The games are done with editing, revisions, and layout. I'm excited to see the prints, because these games frankly all turned out about as good as I could have imagined. Huzzah!

Quy Serra Serra cover reveal!

In the lead-up to the crowdfunding campaign, I ran out of time to get a good cover for Quy Serra Serra done. I wanted something to capture both the serious and comedic vibe of the game, so the one on the campaign page has been placeholder the whole time. Sashah Li, my editor, partner, and occasional game artist, had a great pitch: what about some skeletons? A little dance macabre for the end of the world? Here's what they came up with:

I'm a big fan, and think it looks great in tandem with the other two games:

Digital Releases

In the coming weeks, I'll be working with the printer to get the print run underway, and working on graphics and pitches so that I can upload all three games to itch and distribute them to you all! My digital release plans have changed a few times in the past couple of updates, but I've decided that I want to release them all at once. While the games are standalone and perfectly playable separately, they still feel to me like a set that should go together. I'm excited to hear if you agree, so keep an eye on those inboxes in the coming weeks!

May Endtimes Update: Edits, Playtests, Layout, Hooray
5 months ago – Wed, May 13, 2026 at 11:02:06 AM

All three games are in editing!

Hey everybody, just a quick update for May. All three games are text complete, laid out, and finished with their first editing passes. The end [of this project] is nigh! In the next week or two I'll be finishing the updates to the game, squeezing in some last minute playtests, and brushing up the layout of all three games before sending them to print.

I ran a playtest of both Quy Serra Serra and Into A Warm Sun last week and both went well. There are a few things to tweak and smooth out, but the games are in a great spot and we are on time for an August delivery.

Here's a spread from each game

Digital Release?

In the coming months I'll also be releasing the games on itch.io so you'll all get your digital copies. Last update, I said I would do these one at a time while working on finishing the others, but I ended up finishing the first drafts of all of them at almost the same time so plans changed. It's a lot of extra work to get the itch pages set up, files formatted for digital release, etc. so I decided on prioritizing the print run first.

That's all for now!

Thanks for filling out the surveys, almost all of you have done so. That'll make it easy for me to get the digital release into your hands, so keep an eye out for the next update when I announce those.
